Reverse Osmosis

The ARO Reverse Osmosis drinking water system is an effective and economical system which installs at your kitchen sink and can provide your whole family with pure water for all your drinking and cooking needs. The filters and reverse osmosis membrane with the storage tank, install easily in the cabinet under the sink. Purified water is dispensed from a separate chrome (colored faucets available) faucet at the sink. The ARO systems come in a variety of sizes to suit a range of uses. These systems can also be configured for use on city water or well water.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Reverse Osmosis was first developed to desalinate sea water. The process has been scaled down to improve small volumes of water for residential drinking water systems, and for small scale commercial applications like laboratories, office drinking water supplies, indoor agriculture, and plating systems. Reverse Osmosis uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate and remove dissolved solids, organics, pyrogens, and submicron colloidal matter. Reverse Osmosis, as its title implies, is the reverse of naturally occurring osmosis. By applying pressure to the more concentrated solution side of the membrane the natural flow of liquid is reversed. The membrane under these conditions allows only the water molecule to pass through and will retain the highly concentrated salt solids.
